ABOUT ELAINE’S FLORIST & GIFT BASKETS

We’re crafting luxury flower arrangements in Houston for life’s most meaningful moments since 1992.

Your Trusted Houston TX Florist Since 1992

Elaine Oulsey-Nevarez has always believed that flowers do more than decorate—they connect, comfort, and celebrate life’s most important moments. That belief led her to create Elaine’s Florist Houston, a trusted Houston TX florist known for quality, creativity, and care since 1992.

After building her experience in the corporate world, Elaine made a defining decision to stay in Houston—the city she loved—and turn her passion for Mother Nature’s most bewitching bouquets. She founded Elaine’s Florist & Gift Baskets, and over the years, it has grown into one of the most respected names for florist in Houston TX flower delivery.

Today, with a team of experienced and passionate designers, Elaine’s has become one of the foremost floral businesses, known for producing beautiful and long-lasting flower arrangements in Houston. We are proud to have been voted “Best Florist in Houston” by the Houston Press. Today, our team continues that legacy by creating elegant floral designs for every occasion and meaningful moments in life. Every arrangement expresses our commitment to beauty, 100% freshness, and thoughtful design.

For over 30 years, quality and freshness have been at the core of everything we do at Elaine’s Florist Houston. Before any arrangement leaves our shop, each stem is carefully placed into fresh water treated with a unique “flower food” that nourishes the blooms and preserves their beauty and vitality, allowing for longer freshness. This process helps maintain hydration while reducing bacteria, ensuring your flowers stay vibrant and beautiful for longer. It’s one of the many ways we go beyond expectations—so every delivery feels just as fresh days later as it did when it arrived.

Certified as a “Nationally Woman-Owned Business” and nominated as “Woman Business Entrepreneur of the Year,” Elaine has worked with many of the top business’ and sports teams in Houston.
