Return & Refund Policy

At Elaine’s Florist & Gift Baskets, your complete satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. Because we work with fresh, living products, certain natural variables — including seasonal availability, temperature, and handling conditions — can occasionally affect the appearance and longevity of your arrangement. We stand fully behind the quality of every order we send out, and we are committed to making things right if something doesn’t meet your expectations.

As a general guide, you can expect fresh cut flowers to remain beautiful for a minimum of 5 days and up to 10 days, depending on the flower variety and the care provided after delivery.

Fresh Flower Arrangements

Due to the natural nature of fresh flowers, longevity may vary depending on flower type, care, and environment. Most arrangements are designed to maintain their beauty for approximately 5 to 10 days.

If you experience any concerns with your floral arrangement:

  • Please notify us within 5 days of delivery
  • We will gladly arrange a replacement bouquet
  • If the issue persists, we can arrange a pickup and issue a refund

All returned arrangements must be in the original container, if applicable.

Plants

Our plants are selected for quality and longevity, but care conditions may affect their performance.

If there is an issue:

  • Contact us within 5 days of receipt
  • We will provide a replacement plant
  • If needed, we will arrange for a return and full refund

Plants must be returned in the same container and condition in which they were delivered.

Gift Baskets

If there is an issue with your gift basket, we ask that you contact us within 5 days of delivery. We will schedule a pickup of the basket and, upon its return to our shop, issue a full refund of your purchase price.

To qualify for a refund, gift baskets must be returned in the same condition as delivered — with all original contents intact and in the original container or basket. Partial returns or baskets with missing items may not be eligible for a full refund.

General Refund Guidelines

  • Refunds will be processed within 1 business day after the returned product has been received back at our shop.
  • Refunds will not be issued if a replacement product has already been delivered and accepted by the recipient.
  • All issues must be reported within the 5-day window outlined above. We are unable to process refund or replacement requests submitted after this period.
  • Pickup of unsatisfactory products and delivery of replacements will be scheduled according to our standard delivery schedule. You are always welcome to bring the product directly to our shop for an immediate return and same-day resolution.

Out-of-Town & Third-Party Delivered Orders

For orders fulfilled and delivered by a partner florist outside the Houston area, please contact us within 5 days of receipt if there is any concern with the arrangement. We will promptly reach out to the fulfilling florist on your behalf to arrange either a replacement or a refund, as mutually agreed upon by all parties involved. Refunds for these orders will be processed within 1 business day of resolution.
